Amazon Best Buys

Amazon Best Buys

I recently watched Emily Norris show off her best Amazon purchases and it inspired me to share mine with all of you. It didn’t really occur to me until I watched her video, but Amazon absolutely is the BEST place to shop online. They have everything you could ever possibly want, at great prices and on next day delivery. What’s not to love!!!

There’s no rhyme or reason to this list, just my opinion on what have been particularly great buys:

Booboo Child/ Baby Safety Locks £9.95

My tiny human is notorious for opening drawers/ cupboards/ doors that he shouldn’t and so these are an absolute necessity for us. They are easy to install and are super effective, as well as being great value for money.

iGadgitz Universal Flexible Foam Mini Tripod £12.69

This handy little device is small and compact enough to put in my handbag. Perfect for those times when we are nipping out for a family day and I take my camera.

Spray Mop & Window Cleaner £19.95

I first discovered this “mop of dreams” on Louise Pentland’s YouTube channel. She bought one and demonstrated its use in her vlog. It was love at first sight and I do not regret the purchase one bit. It makes cleaning up toddler spills so much easier and I just feel so efficient when I use it. A+++

Beard Apron £6.19

So obviously this wasn’t a purchase for me (although sometimes the hair on my upper lip requires a chainsaw to remove it) but it was for my husband. I got unbelievably pee’d off with having to clean his little ginger beard hairs out of the sink. So this awesome little contraption saved my sanity (and quite possibly my marriage).

Wireless Camera Baby Monitor £34.99

We initially used an AngelCare Baby Monitor which we loved, but unfortunately the wiring came loose and after using it for almost 2 years it broke. However, we couldn’t justify paying that price again to replace it but still wanted a way of monitoring Matthew at night so we found this. It was easy to install, has amazing HD quality video imaging, two way speakers and night vision. We paid £34.99 for it but it’s just over half price at £18.99 now. A+++

A3 Framed Chalkboard £12.95

This little purchase was a cute little addition to Matthews birthday party decorations. Some chalk pens, sub par drawing skills and there you have it. (This can be seen in action here)

So those delightful items are the best of the bunch for me, but what are yours? I’m curious to know if there’s some awesome purchase i’m missing out on and so please let me know in the comments. Hope you enjoyed this post lovelies.

Take care,

D x

I love when you wrote “my tiny human” lol brands are probably different for me since I live in the U.S., however I enjoyed reading this post. The mop looks amazing and I might have to start looking for a beard apron soon my boyfriend is growing his out.

Ok, I’m all for the beard apron, too.
My beard growing skills do lack a certain luster when compared to my Portland hipster brethren. However, since I’ve only got myself to rely on to clean up my beard shrapnel after a trim – spoiler: I *don’t* – this might just be worthy.
